Biography

Mitch de Klein was born in Nieuwegein in the Netherlands in 1990. He was always inspired by lots of different styles of music. At a very young age he began to make some music on the computer by putting loops together. After a few years he wanted to achieve more and when discovered a more professional software program, he was ready for the real job.

In the beginning of 2008, at an age of 17, he took the step to invest in professional DJ-equipment. Practicing every day helped him to improve his DJ-skills and also his basic music knowledge. Due to the practicing on the decks, he also improved his producing skills.

At the age of 18, Mitch de Klein had his first release. In the years after his 1st release he changed his music style. He went for a more international approach like progressive house, tech house and techno. His producer skills were growing due to the forum of Laidback Luke. He learned a lot more about music production because of the feedback and tips he gained on this forum. The result: support from Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez, Jewel Kid, Kid Massive, Roog, Jesse Voorn, Michel de Hey, DJ Madskillz, Benny Rodrigues, Gina Turner and many more.

Mitch his greatest achievement so far was when Laidback Luke asked him personally to perform on his own Super You & Me party in Panama (Amsterdam).

Until now, Mitch de Klein performed at places like; Club Monza in Utrecht, Lust in Utrecht, Brothers in Bunnik, De Rechter in Eindhoven, Hollywood Music Hall in Rotterdam, ‘t Neude in Utrecht and others!
